Emily Bondus, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Emily Bondus received her Bachelor of Science in Audiology and Speech Sciences and Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) degrees from Purdue University. Since graduating with her doctorate in 2008, she has practiced at Ear, Nose, & Throat Associates/The Hearing Center.

Dr. Bondus provides diagnostic audiology services for all ages. She provides diagnostic testing for patients of all ages and specializes in working with hearing rehabilitation in adults. She is a certified Lyric provider. She enjoys giving patients back access to the world they have been missing. Dr. Bondus also specializes in Cochlear Implants and enjoys being involved with our implant program. She is licensed to practice audiology by the State of Indiana. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She currently sees patients at our Lutheran Medical Park, Apple Glen, and Columbia City offices.

In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and cheering on her Purdue Boilermakers. She is also involved in the Junior League of Fort Wayne, Bible Study Fellowship, and the Purdue University Alumni Club of Fort Wayne.

Elizabeth Davis, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Elizabeth Davis received her Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from Purdue University, and she earned her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from Central Michigan University.

Dr. Davis provides diagnostic testing for patients of all ages and rehabilitation services for adults. She is licensed by the state of Indiana and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Dr. Davis currently sees patients at our Lutheran and Bluffton offices. She also performs diagnostic vestibular testing at the Dupont Medical Park office.

Dr. Davis grew up in Fort Wayne and is excited to be back in her hometown surrounded by her friends and family. Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys reading, baking, and playing board games.

Jennifer C. Graber, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Jennifer C. Graber received her Associate degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech & Hearing Science from Purdue University Fort Wayne. She earned her Doctorate of Audiology degree (Au.D.) from Ball State University in May 2009. Dr. Graber has been at Ear, Nose & Throat Associates/The Hearing Center for over ten years.

Dr. Graber has experience in diagnostic hearing evaluations for all ages and focuses on rehabilitation audiology for adults. Dr. Graber has been instrumental in developing our Bone-Anchored Hearing Device (BAHA) program and works with patients of all ages. She currently sees patients at our Dupont, Angola and Lagrange offices. Dr. Graber was a Limited Term Lecturer at IPFW (Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne) from 2014-2018.

Dr. Graber is licensed to practice audiology in the state of Indiana. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a member of the Indiana Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

In her free time Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and four children.

Kate Hull, Au.D.

Dr. Kate Hull received her Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Science and her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from Indiana University. She is licensed to practice audiology in the state of Indiana and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Additionally, she is a member of the Indiana Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Dr. Hull performs comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations for all ages and provides amplification services for adult and pediatric populations. She is also a certified Lyric provider. In addition, Dr. Hull specializes in diagnostic balance evaluations including but not limited to videonystagmography (VNG), rotational testing, ocular motility, and computerized dynamic posturography. She is currently providing hearing evaluation and amplification services at the Lutheran Medical Park and Decatur offices; and providing balance services at the Dupont office.

In her free time. Kate enjoys reading, hiking, and camping. As an avid skier, Kate looks forward to hitting the slopes every winter!

Laura L. Johnson, M.A., CCC-A

Originally from the Chicago area, audiologist Laura Johnson has lived and worked in Iowa, Minnesota and now proudly calls Fort Wayne her home for 14 years now. Mrs. Johnson received her Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Disorders and Master of Arts degrees in Audiology from the University of Northern Iowa.

Laura’s audiological passions are comprehensive diagnostic hearing assessment and hearing aid selection, fitting, and follow ups with adults. She is licensed to practice audiology in the state of Indiana. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Laura sees patients at our Apple Glen and Wabash offices.

When not at work, Laura enjoys reading, live music, working out, good food, and having fun with family and friends.

Sarah Miner, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Sarah Miner received her Bachelor of Science in Audiology and Speech Pathology from Purdue University’s Fort Wayne campus and earned her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from Ball State University. Dr. Miner is licensed to practice audiology in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

Dr. Miner has been an audiologist at Ear, Nose & Throat Associates/The Hearing Center since 2011. She provides diagnostic testing for patients of all ages and provides hearing rehabilitation services for adults. Specifically, she is a certified Lyric provider. Dr. Miner enjoys helping her patients to reconnect with the world around them. She is currently seeing patients at our Dupont and Chapel Ridge offices in Fort Wayne and also at our Van Wert, Ohio office.

Sarah is a Fort Wayne native, volunteer at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, and lifelong Komet Hockey fan. She spends her free time with her husband and their pets and enjoys traveling.

Melanie Offerle, M.A., CCC-A

Melanie Offerle graduated from Indiana University, Bloomington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Hearing Science. She then obtained her Master of Arts degree in Audiology at Ball State University. Mrs. Offerle is a Fort Wayne native and has been practicing in the area for over twenty years.

Melanie provides diagnostic services for people of all ages. She specializes in the fitting of hearing aids on adults and enjoys assisting those who struggle with communication. She has seen many changes in the hearing aid industry and is always excited sharing new technology with her patients. Melanie is licensed to practice audiology in the state of Indiana. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Melanie sees patients at our Chapel Ridge and Huntington offices.

When not busy at work, Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 adult children. She enjoys music, reading, fitness, and her large extended family.

Jessica O'Sullivan, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Jessica O'Sullivan received her Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and her Doctor of Audiology degrees from Purdue University. She is licensed to practice audiology in the State of Indiana and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language- Hearing Association.

Dr. O'Sullivan performs diagnostic evaluations for all ages and provides hearing aid services for pediatric and adult patients at our Dupont and Auburn locations. Dr. O'Sullivan is also a participating provider for the Hearing Aid Assistance Program of Indiana (HAAPI).

Jessica is originally from the Chicago area and has enjoyed being near extended family in Fort Wayne. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, watching Purdue basketball and football, and spending time with her husband.

Alison M. Schortgen, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Alison Schortgen earned her Bachelor of Science in Pre-Audiology Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degrees at Ball State University. Dr. Schortgen has a personal connection to hearing loss as she and several family members have hearing loss. Her personal experiences with audiologists led her to choose audiology as a career.

Dr. Schortgen has been an audiologist with The Hearing Center since 2008. She specializes in diagnosing and treating hearing loss in children. She also provides rehabilitation services to adults and primarily sees patients at our Dupont office. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Schortgen also serves as the Director of The Hearing Center.

Dr. Schortgen is licensed to practice audiology in Indiana and Ohio. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She is also credentialed through First Steps, Indiana’s early intervention program.

In her free time, Alison enjoys spending time with her husband and her three school aged daughters. She also enjoys playing softball, reading, and watching her girls in their activities.

Shelley Zern, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Shelley Zern received her. B.A. and M.A. degrees from Ball State University and has worked as an audiologist with Ear, Nose & Throat Associates/The Hearing Center since 1997. She received her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree in 2009 from Salus University.

Dr. Zern specializes in the evaluation and care of cochlear implant recipients of all ages. In 2000, she helped to initiate the start of ENT’s cochlear implant program; a first in northeast Indiana, and has been involved with the care of local cochlear implant recipients ever since. She also specializes in pediatric diagnostic services and has worked with area schools as an educational audiologist. Dr. Zern is licensed to practice audiology in the state of Indiana. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Dr. Zern enjoys the hobbies of knitting and cooking as well as time spent outdoors and traveling with her husband and son.

Catherine Zimmerman, M.S., CCC-A

Catherine Sue Zimmerman received her Bachelor of Science degree in Auditory/Speech sciences from Purdue University, and then earned her Master of Arts degree in Audiology in 1998 from the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, AL. She began her career at the Sparks Center at University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she enhanced her clinical skills for pediatric through adult populations.

Cathie returned to Indiana where she transitioned to the ENT practice setting. After raising a family, she relocated with them to the Warsaw area. Cathie performs diagnostic evaluations for all ages and provides hearing aid dispensing services for adults at our Warsaw office. She is licensed to practice audiology in the state of Indiana and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

In her free time, Cathie enjoys distance running, making music, and spending time with her family and Gus the cat.
